This is a private reference site, not a government office. It cannot confirm custody, release anyone, post bond, or retrieve an official booking record. Contact the agency that holds the record.
Choose the Correct Office
Use the source that controls the event. The home page covers a released-person search and the county record-request steps. State supervision is addressed through parole and probation. The 24-hour release list explains the same-day fallback because Cuyahoga has no official released-only feed. A future date or alert belongs with the projected release date and VINELink check resources. Each facility page names its own record route.
Sheriff and Release Contacts
The Cuyahoga County Sheriff's Department handles the downtown county jail and county booking records. The Release Desk is the named contact after bond. Booking Desk numbers handle current booking information. Records and warrant questions have a separate line.

The Sheriff publishes prisoner drop-off and pickup operations from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; that is not a guarantee of a person's release time. Use the county public-record portal for a historical movement or release entry.
Court and Case Contacts
Common Pleas felony records can explain bond, dismissal, sentence, community control, or conveyance. The public docket is not the official court record. Ask the Clerk for a certified entry when formal proof is needed. Municipal matters belong to the municipal court that handled the case.

State and Notification Contacts
The ODRC Offender Search is the public starting point for an Ohio state prisoner, release status, or APA supervision. It does not hold Cuyahoga County jail booking records. Ohio VINE support is available at 1-866-277-7477 for custody-notification help. Federal BOP and ICE locators should be used only for their own custody systems.
Reentry and Archive Contacts
The Office of Reentry offers local resource navigation after custody. County Archives handles transferred historical county records, not current jail status.
